Sound ON! 

When someone does a google search for a videographer in Christchurch or even New Zealand, this is certainly not the page you are expecting to find! But like poetry in motion, this dance of man and animals is a mesmerising experience to the eye! And we hope that however you landed in here you enjoy discovering these images and our work just as much as we enjoyed creating them. 

For many years we have imagined capturing this top-down perspective of this ancient traditional New Zealand technique of mustering the sheep with these incredible dogs. These images were shot with the folks at Table Top Station halfway between Wanaka and Christchurch. We think this is pretty stunning! Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. How Did We Capture These Images? 

To say that COVID hasn’t affected the day-to-day running of our operations would be a gross understatement. Over the last six months we have faced continuous disruptions of plans, shooting schedules, shoots being postponed, interrupted and delayed due to the invisible shadow we all have been trying to dodge but that relentlessly seems to be getting at almost all of us. 

Nevertheless, despite this uncertainty, one thing was very clear to us… Our core value of always striving to overdeliver and exceed expectations for our clients. 

For the last six months, we have been working with New Zealand Farm Assurance and some of their programme farmers to craft some complex message video pieces that highlight the incredible work these folks have been doing to help farmers strengthen their position in the market by supporting them in measuring and re-evaluating key elements of their operations. 

In short, the New Zealand Farm Assurance Programmes (NZFAP and NZFAP Plus) provide confidence and certainty to the millions of consumers worldwide that the meat and wool produced from New Zealand’s sheep, beef and deer farms is authentic, genuine, and safe.  Collectively they provide assurances regarding integrity, traceability, animal health and welfare, people, farm and natural resources and biosecurity.

The following video is a short offshoot of such work created for the sake of creating something beautiful with some of the incredible b-roll images we have been capturing for this project.
